Sharing the Joy of Reading with Children
On Monday, July 21, 2014, the Director of the Wilton Manors Library, Rick Sterling, and Volunteer, Betty Winslow, gave children’s books, no longer needed by the library, to Joann Block, to place in the Middle River Terrace Park Little Free Library. Betty saw the Little Free Library in the Park and told her friend, Laura Croscenco, that she could get books for it. Laura mentioned that a donation of children’s books would be great, and Betty and Joann arranged to get them on Monday.
Thank you Director Sterling and Betty Winslow. We really appreciate your sharing resources with MRT. Anyone who wants to borrow a book from the Little Free Library is welcome to do so.
