UPDATE UPDATE: BROWARD BOULEVARD TO REMAIN OPEN THIS WEEK
Broward Boulevard Rail Crossing Work to be Rescheduled
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – work planned for the Florida East Coast (FEC) railroad crossing at Broward Boulevard this week has been cancelled. The work was scheduled to begin tomorrow, April 13 and continue until Thursday, April 15, 2021.
The work included routine maintenance to the rails and replacing the crossing surface. FEC in conjunction with The FDOT District Four Rail Office have determined the work can be deferred. FDOT and FEC officials will coordinate to reschedule the work and advance notice will be provided when the work is rescheduled.
