He stated that the first 2 meetings that were held by the joint efforts of the Mayor Jack Seiler, Commissioner Dean Trantalis, Police Department, Juvenile Justice Department and the 4 Juvenile Judges has yet to produce a plan of how to resolve the issue. There has been some ideas brought up, such as the ankle monitoring bracelets, that the city was ready to purchase to monitor the juveniles. It was discovered, that all along, all the Juvenile Justice department needed to do was ask the state for the ankle monitoring bracelets and they would be given to them! Commissioner Trantalis also stated that at present there is no plan, but a third meeting will be held and now the plan is in the hands of the 4 juvenile judges to come up with a plan……
