Heads up! Car break-ins are on the rise in neighborhoods south of Middle River Terrace. Fortunately, we haven't seen this rise in MRT. The local police advise these prevention steps to reduce the chances of this happening to you:
1-Always lock your car doors, day and night.
2-Never leave valuables in plain sight. Always secure your laptops, backpacks, purses, etc in the trunk or take them into your home.
3-See something, say something. If you see suspicious behavior, strangers walking in and out of yards, trying car door handles, reaching inside open car windows, call 911.
A little bit of prevention can go along way in making our entire neighborhood a safe place for all our residents.
