The City of Fort Lauderdale is providing residents with a responsible way to dispose of hazardous waste, electronics and medications. The next hazardous waste drop-off event is Saturday, April 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mills Pond Park which is located at 2201 NW 9th Avenue – that’s Powerline Road. There will also be an opportunity to shred paper. Proof of residency is required.
