City marks Arbor Day with Residential Tree Giveaway!
Days will be cooler, greener and more beautiful when the City of Fort Lauderdale reaches our goal of a 25% tree canopy cover by 2018.
Residents are invited to help reach that goal by participating in our free tree giveaway from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Florence C. Hardy Park. The park is located at 25 SW 9th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
With proof of residency, all Fort Lauderdale residents may receive up to two trees per household at no charge. Come a little early if you want to participate in our Annual Arbor Day Program starting at 9 a.m.
