What a monumentous day in our neighborhood today. The culmination of years of dreams, dedication and a lot of sweet equity. The groundbreaking for the historic Dixie Hwy in Middle River Terrace. As Commissioner Trantalis said, we are finally going to take the “highway” out of Dixie Highway. It will be transformed into a beautiful neighborhood street with lighting, landscape and bike lanes.
