Climate Change Discussion and More with Broward County Officials at Hagen Park Community Center 7pm, July 24, 2019:
The Central Area Neighborhood Association Board of Directors invites all Wilton Manors residents and area neighbors to attend this special evening with our Broward County Commissioner and the County's expert on Climate Change. Our officials will make comments specific to our area concerning traffic congestion on Sunrise and Oakland Park Blvds, continued development and growth, possible coastal link of TRI-Rail commuter use of the FEC tracks, Broward County one-cent sales tax for transportation, the actual threat of climate change and sea-level rise and pro-active actions by our local governments concerning seawalls, storm drains, and more. We hope to see you at Hagen Park Community Center 7pm, July 24, 2019.
A brief update on FAA actions affecting the airspace over our city will also be presented.
